Please tell us about your role at CDK.
I joined CDK in 2014 and currently serve as an account sales executive. In my role, I am a key partner for our dealership customers in providing value with their workflows and customer experience. I teach customers and help tailor their needs using discovery, analysis and showing the benefits of having CDK as a partner. Most people don’t put sales and data together, however, it’s so important to show a customer their ROI and value.

Why is staying curious important to you?
I’m currently obtaining my MBA and master’s in organizational leadership with an emphasis in data analytics. Analytics is embedded in all industries, especially the automotive sector. I’m a self-proclaimed “data nut.” I enjoy understanding where data is coming from, building reports and analyzing how to make pivotal decisions from insights. We may not realize it, but we’re all analysts! No matter who you are, you make important decisions with data insights every day.

My experience with the CDK Tuition Assistance Program was seamless – it’s transparent, easy to navigate and accommodating. Any step to grow yourself professionally is great and CDK has abundant education options. I also used this available benefit to receive my Lean Six Sigma Certification.

How do you make an impact at CDK?
I continue to leverage my education at CDK through our great partnerships with the Sales and Operations departments. I use data to share insights with customers, motivate others and help our customers win. Every team at CDK uses insights for decision-making. We even bring insights to our customers through reporting and dashboards! By using data and insights with our customers through trends and benchmarking, we’re showing them the value in their CDK investments to move the needle for success. Data will continue to strengthen our partnerships with OEMs and our customers.

I’m proud to work for CDK and look forward to our future using actionable data insights as a Software as a Service (SaaS) company.
