At CDK, we know innovation thrives when diverse perspectives are represented and valued. Every day, women across our organization help shape the future of our industry through leadership, collaboration, and creativity.
Hear from some of the women of CDK as they share their career journeys, experiences, and what empowers them to make an impact every day.
Jessica Day, Social Impact Manager
“I’ve been at CDK since 2023 and currently serve as the company’s Social Impact Manager, where I oversee CDK’s philanthropic strategy, nonprofit partnerships, volunteer initiatives, and Impact Teams, our employee resource groups. I also sit on our DEI Council.”
“The values I bring to work are compassion, empathy, authenticity, community and service. CDK gives me the autonomy to turn those values into meaningful programs that support our employees and communities. Workplace culture is incredibly important to me because feeling connected and supported allows people to bring their full selves to work. This is the best job I’ve ever had because it allows me to combine the things I care about personally with the things CDK cares about. That alignment has enabled me to help create an environment where employees feel valued, empowered, and part of a community.”
Angela Barlow, OEM Account Manager
“One of my proudest accomplishments is building a place for myself in an industry that hasn’t always made room for women in leadership. Representation truly matters, and helping create space for others has been an important part of my journey.”
“I value building trusted relationships and creating space for honest conversations and different perspectives. I strive to be supportive and collaborative so people feel comfortable sharing their ideas and speaking up. Seeing others recognize their potential inspires me, and supporting their growth and confidence is what gives leadership real meaning for me.”
Kathleen Small, Lead Customer Success Manager

“When I started with CDK (formerly ADP) in 1986, the automotive industry was very male oriented and it was challenging to earn respect. Over the years it has improved greatly with CDK embracing and promoting diversity. I learned quickly that you need to work hard to continuously sharpen your expertise and knowledge, allowing you to provide great support to our customers. Investing in myself has allowed me to be recognized and respected for the resource I provide.”
“It is valuable to have and be mentors within your company and industry. Being open to getting honest and different perspectives is the best way to learn and grow. The opportunity to learn from each other on how one would approach a situation, navigate challenges, and develop within their chosen career is a great way to value, champion and elevate women. Chances are they have already experienced some of the challenges many women experience and can offer guidance.”
Namita Jain, Senior Business Systems Analyst

“My experience is a bit different from the typical experienced hire in that I joined CDK in 2023 as part of the Returnship Program. This is a 16-week program for professionals who had taken a break from their careers for two or more years for caregiving opportunities and wish to return to the modern workforce.”
“It was a unique opportunity for me to get back into the tech industry and contribute to the growth of CDK through meaningful projects with Enterprise IT. I created an end-to-end, customized intake process for EIT spend requests, and learned about standard industry processes like source-to-pay, purchase requisitions and more. I also worked on organizational change management efforts to help improve collaboration. All along the way I felt the support and mentorship of my team and leaders as it related to my career growth and work-life balance. I’m extremely excited for this next chapter with CDK.”
Tejaswini Nagre, senior engineer CRM
“I started my journey with CDK in 2014. Being a working mother is a top priority for me, and at CDK I’m able to balance motherhood and my career. My team helps me grow, appreciates my work, encourages me to challenge myself daily and celebrates my achievements. The realization that I am contributing to delivering the best value to our customers through my daily actions is the most rewarding part of my job.”
